About
A formal introduction to the project, its editorial mission, and the students who build it.
Project Overview
The guide is intended to preserve practical student knowledge in a form that future cohorts can keep improving.
The UWC Changshu China Survival Guide is a student-run knowledge base for incoming and current students at UWC Changshu China.
{"It exists to preserve practical knowledge that is easy to lose between cohorts"=>"how to settle in, how to navigate the academic system, and how to make use of the opportunities around campus and beyond."}
The project is maintained as a living publication. Editors set direction and uphold editorial standards, while contributors write, revise, translate, and materially improve individual articles over time.
01
The guide is grounded in lived student experience and focuses on what is useful in practice, not just what is formally documented.
02
This is treated as a continuing publication with named leadership, clear attribution, and room for revision as the school environment changes.
03
The repository keeps institutional memory in one place so each graduating class can hand forward something more useful than scattered advice.
